Cross Country paragliding

Welcome future cross-country pilot!

This course is intended for those who can already fly on their own but they still don’t feel comfortable in the air and they would finally like to make some cross-country flights.

The course takes place at selected flying sites in Slovakia as well as abroad.

The goal of the course is to teach the student “to think” in the air. For this course, we selected such flying sites where it is quite simple to stay in the air and with the help of the instructor, who is in the air with you, to make a planned cross-country flight.

We make an analysis before every flight:

  1. weather
  2. terrain
  3. track /route/
During the flight, the students are in radio-contact with the instructor who makes comments on concrete reasons for actual decisions and “pulls” the students along the track. The instructor also calls attention to the mistakes of the students. This is an exceptional way of teaching as well as the most effective one; however, it requires the highest skills on the side of the instructors who belong to the top ranked pilots in Slovakia.

After landing, there is an analysis of flight and mistakes
