Our R&D team managed by Andre Rottet together with the SOL acro team spent a lot of efforts developing and testing different prototypes for our new acro glider: The SuperSonic. Its outstanding performance made the SuperSonic be present on the podiums in the most important aerobatics competitions around the world in 2008.

SuperSonic protos, flown by Hernan Pittoco, Alexandre Aimard, Horácio Llorens and Renato Lopez, had the best acro glider performance. Now this glider is available in its final version, destined to an experienced group of pilots who are oriented to "Acro" and "Freestyle".

The results during the development have already shown the potential of SuperSonic:

PILOTS

SuperSonic as other aerobatic paragliders is destined to experienced pilots who are used to "Freestyle" and Aerobatics – its use is specific and the abilities are specific as well.

DESIGN AND CONSTRUCTION

The layout is modern. It’s a 56 cells detailed construction, projected aspect ratio compatible with modern canopies and its small canopy area allow a total profile performance utilization which resulted in a much faster and agile wing - it has a prompt and sensitive response to the commands.

The calculation techniques and construction along with the materials used in our products result in a paraglider with no wrinkles nor depression. It could not be different with SuperSonic: a clean and smooth canopy.

All construction materials have been carefully selected to ensure high durability and high level of security. All SOL gliders are made in the company's own DHV. certified factory.

SuperSonic has a short and precise brake which allows a little use of the brake during the flight.

CERTIFICATION

SuperSonic is a non certified glider: Its use is on your own risk and responsibility.

It is intended for a group of experienced pilots with knowledge of the risks involved in the aerobatics.
